Q: Where are you located?
A: I am located in Chicago but we travel to your location or we can set up a consultation in one of several suburban Salons that we are working with.

Q: What if I live out of State?
A: We can provide you with a kit to make a mold of your scalp. Upon completion of your custom hair replacement , we can ship it to you and you can bring it to your stylist who can cut  and color it in to your specifications.

Q: How much is a Hair System and how long will it last?
A: A partial piece runs at $45 per square inch, so for example if the area to be covered on the top of your head is 8" front to back and 6" across then you would multiply 8" x 6"=48 sq inches x $45 per square inch= $1800. Our product is extremely customized so the prices for a full head can range from $2,495-$4,500. Prices can vary depending on hair length and the type of hair used. We ONLY use 100% human hair. Hair systems can last up to several years depending on how you take care of it. The system is repairable and repairs usually take several days to a week.

Q: Will my insurance cover the cost of my hair replacement?
If you need to wear a wig because of medical reasons such as Alopecia, Trich, or Cancer related therapy the “wig” should be called a “cranial hair prosthesis” for insurance purposes. If a person requires a cranial prosthesis due to Medical related hair loss they may be eligible for reimbursement under their health insurance. Most insurance companies will cover from 80% to 100 % of a cranial prosthesis.

Follow these guidelines to file your claim to the insurance company:
You will need to get a prescription from your physician for a cranial prosthesis.
Check the benefits of your insurance. There should be a section under covered                    expenses related to prosthesis, prosthetic devices or medical durable equipment.
Request that your physician write a "PRESCRIPTION" for a "CRANIAL                           PROSTHESIS".
Notify us about your medical need for alternative hair and we will also send you a                receipt for a cranial prosthesis.
Send your sales receipts for your cranial prosthesis.
Enclose a letter to the insurance company stating the necessity of a prosthesis.
If your insurance company denies insurance coverage, you can appeal.
Never file an insurance claim for a wig. Always call it a CRANIAL PROSTHESIS.
Cranial prosthesis’s are different from budget or department store wigs in quality,               performance, and service. Prosthesis’s are made of specialized material,
for individuals with severe hair loss.
•       If you don’t have insurance contact your state or county agencies.
The county department of social services usually offers medical assistance
in most states for individuals who meet certain income guidelines.
These are guidelines only. Always follow the procedures stated by your insurance company so you can obtain the fullest benefits possible. Individual insurance companies may have other or additional steps to complete.

Q: Isn't a silicone-based system hot  as compared to the Net-based systems?
A: NO, it actually can be cooler. It is a popular misconception that a net-based system must be cooler because the net-based systems tend to be lighter and they are breathable, however our silicone-based system is actually more comfortable and will keep you cooler then a net-base. The reason is that our system fits your scalp like a second skin. No air will get between the system and your scalp. The net-based systems do not fit your scalp like a second skin so air can get trapped between the system and your scalp and as that air heats up you will tend to sweat more.
